FamilyTeethKeep End-User License Agreement (EULA) and Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and ASLAN Solutions, Inc. ("Publisher") for the FamilyTeethKeep software application, including any associated documentation and updates ("Software"). Installation or use constitutes acceptance of these terms and of the Privacy Policy presented with the Software.

2. License Grant

Subject to this Agreement and any applicable license key or trial terms, Publisher grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on one Windows 11 PC that you own or control, solely for your own personal or household (non-clinic) dental record-keeping and related educational use.

A 30-day free trial may apply from first install. No credit card is required for the trial. Continued use after the trial requires purchase and activation of a valid license key. Additional PCs require additional licenses, available through support.

This license is a one-time purchase for the major version line indicated at sale. Minor updates and bug fixes are included. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the FamilyTeethKeep product line as commercially offered, not an unconditional guarantee of support if the product is discontinued. Publisher may terminate this license if you breach this Agreement.

3. Restrictions

You may not, except to the extent applicable law prohibits these restrictions:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;
• remove or alter proprietary notices;
• rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or commercially host the Software for third parties as a service;
• circumvent license, trial, or activation mechanisms;
• use the Software as regulated clinical software (FamilyTeethKeep is a personal tracker, not an EHR/EMR or clinical device).

You may make reasonable backup copies of the Software installer and of your own exported data.

4. Not Medical or Dental Advice

FAMILYTEETHKEEP AND ITS "LEARN" OR EDUCATIONAL CONTENT ARE FOR PERSONAL TRACKING AND GENERAL EDUCATION ONLY. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE DENTAL, MEDICAL, LEGAL, OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE; DO NOT DIAGNOSE OR TREAT ANY CONDITION; AND DO NOT CREATE A DENTIST-PATIENT, DOCTOR-PATIENT, OR PROVIDER-PATIENT RELATIONSHIP. ALWAYS CONSULT A QUALIFIED DENTAL OR MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL FOR CARE DECISIONS.

5. Your Data and Backups

You retain ownership of the content and records you enter. You are solely responsible for:

• the accuracy and legality of information you store;
• maintaining backups of your own data (for example Backup to ZIP/JSON, then copies you make to an external drive, another computer, or storage you control);
• compliance with any privacy or data-protection laws that apply to you.

FamilyTeethKeep stores records locally on your Windows PC. Publisher does not require a cloud account, does not receive your dental records, and does not upload that data. License activation is designed to work offline and does not transmit your dental records. Through the Software itself, Publisher receives no personal information except what you choose to send to support (for example email to [email protected]). When you buy a license, Publisher receives your name, email address, the product purchased, and transaction details, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you copy a backup to cloud storage you control, that copy is yours, not a FamilyTeethKeep service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Software is licensed, not sold. Publisher and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Software, including copyrights, trademarks (including "FamilyTeethKeep"), and trade secrets, except for the limited license granted herein.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PUBLISHER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASLAN SOLUTIONS, INC., ITS AFFILIATES, AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE OR THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. PUBLISHER'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU PAID NOTHING).

9. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach its terms. Upon termination you must stop using the Software and destroy copies in your possession, except that you may retain your own exported personal data. Sections 4–8 and 10 survive termination.

10. General

This Agreement is governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which ASLAN Solutions, Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections of your jurisdiction apply. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. This Agreement is the entire agreement regarding the Software and supersedes prior oral or written proposals on this subject. Publisher may update these terms for future versions; continued use of updated Software may constitute acceptance of revised terms as presented at install or in-app.
